Yes. Community is built from the same source as Pro and uses the same variable structure and component naming, so you can start with Community and move to Pro when you need more.
Community includes the 57 shadcn/ui components released up to June 2026. Components released after that (Attachment, Bubble, Marker, Message, Message Scroller, Questionnaire, Trace and Code Block) are part of Pro. The Community file shows them as view-only images, marked Pro only.
Go to the assets panel and click the book icon to open the Manage Libraries dialog. From there, select Publish to make the file available to add as a library in other files.
In the consuming file, go to Manage Libraries as well, but now visit the Teams section. Find the published library and click add to file.
Community is the Nova style in light mode, with the 57 shadcn/ui components released up to June 2026. Pro adds:
- All 8 shadcn/ui styles
- Dark mode
- Every component released after June 2026, and future ones
- Pro Blocks in Figma and React
- The CSS Export and shadcn/ui Create plugins
