Moving to a paid kit

We’ve just released 1.6.0 of the kit, which documents the components in the kit using our newly released documentation plugin Obra Autodocs.

In general, we are preparing for a commercial re-release of this kit.

The community edition file will remain free, but won’t receive any major updates anymore.

We’re launching on March 11th, 2026 with a commercial proposition where we hope the community will support us in our journey to make this a commercial product.

We’re not doing this on a whim: we’ve thought long and hard about where to take this kit, and we think in order to keep providing a great product, the next phase of the kit is being a paid product.

You’ll see some changes on the website and the repository as we move towards a commercial model.
