Updated Pricing#
At Obra, we have a transparent pricing policy for our products and announce pricing changes ahead of time to give customers time to react.
We implemented the pricing update we communicated at the end of August. Here are the details:
- The individual plan was removed: as detailed in that earlier blog post, we found that too many “individual” customers that were obviously teams tended to cheap out and go for the individual option. By increasing the base tier, we hope to remedy this issue.
- The Pro plan is now €50 cheaper, it went from €299 to €249. We did this to make the kit more accessible to actual individual freelancers. We understand that for some freelancers, this is still expensive. We invite you to check out our community kit.
- The Enterprise plan went from €999 to €1199, with a €200 surcharge (on top of the price increase) when buying off-LemonSqueezy (i.e. with a custom invoice).
Our plans now neatly map to Figma’s pricing tiers. To determine which plan to buy, choose the plan that matches your Figma plan.
- When you would upgrade your Figma tier within your organisation (i.e. from Pro to Org), you don’t need to upgrade your license.
- We don’t do seat-based pricing, as this is complex to keep track of in practice.

Community kit update#
We posted the following update on the Community kit page:
Hi everyone, the Obra shadcn/ui kit is currently the most generous and complete shadcn/ui kit on Figma community. However we have found that it’s a bit too generous and how good it is, is hurting our Pro kit sales.
We will make a decision around what to do commercially by October 1st, 2026. Grab the current version for free while you can!
Generally, we are leaning to reducing the number of features in our free offering. However, the current Community kit is very much upgradeable and allows for a clear and easy upgrade path to Pro.
We’re intending to come up with a strategy that balances what we give in Community vs Pro while retaining upgradeability.
We’re still looking for a design engineer (Mexico based)#
We’re still looking for a freelance design engineer based in Mexico City to help us grow the Pro Blocks library.
Specifically we are looking for a skilled React engineer to implement the upcoming e-commerce Pro Blocks.
The job is remote, the location requirement is related to growing the overall Obra team based on our hub strategy.
If that sounds like you — or you know someone who fits the bill — the full description is on our jobs page.
