50,000 duplicates on Figma Community

Our free shadcn/ui Community Edition just passed 50,000 duplicates on Figma Community. Thank you to everyone who’s grabbed a copy and built something with it.

It’s been quite a ride to watch this number climb. We crossed 1,000 duplicates in July 2025 and 10,000 that September. A year on, we’re at 50,000. We’re super pleased with the reception.

We’re working on#

The milestone is a nice moment to look forward, too. A few things on our plate:

• More styles. We’re releasing the four missing styles: Maia, Lyra, Sera and Mira.
• Chat components. Support for chat and messaging UI, one of the most requested additions.
• Better onboarding. More educational content, clearer explanations of how to use the kit, and a smoother first run. We started this with an improved Customer Center, and now we want to extend that experience into the kit itself.

The right balance between Community and Pro#

The Community Edition hasn’t been touched since Pro launched. That’s changing: it should stand on its own and be good, not a watered-down nudge toward paying, while Pro still offers enough to make upgrading worth it. The missing styles above are a first step.

And a specific thank you to our Pro customers. Your purchases are what fund this work: the components, the Pro Blocks, and the improvements coming to the free edition too. The momentum here doesn’t happen without you.
